Mandatory water restrictions issued for The Woodlands, Texas

Mandatory water restrictions have been initiated by The Woodlands Joint Powers Agency.  The restrictions include The Woodlands Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) in Montgomery County, according to James M. Stinson, P.E., general manager of The Woodlands Joint Powers Agency. To reduce stress on the water supply system and allow adequate pressure for early morning household needs, automatic irrigation timers should be set to complete all watering cycles by 4 a.m.  Residential and commercial customers with even numbered addresses (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) are restricted to watering on Sundays and Thursdays; customers with odd numbered addresses (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) are restricted to watering on Saturdays and Wednesdays.  Fines up to $200 per violation may be imposed for repeat offenders.

The Best Restaurants in The Woodlands Texas For Kids

susan boyle

woodlands kids eat free

That little phrase is music to a parent's ears; while many restaurants are willing and able to serve free kids meals, you should be aware of the typical conditions and requirements:

  • Such meal deals are only available for children up to age 12; some places limit the offer to kids 10 and younger
  • The Free Kids Meals are limited to a few menu items - 'Kids Menu'
  • The child must be with an adult who's dining at the same time and ordering an adult entree
    ( condition can & does vary )

Also, make note of how many kids can eat free, per paying adult ( usually 1 to 1 ) Does the deal apply all day, or just for certain hours on particular days? *Most Restaurants only offer a Kids Eat Free Deal one day per week, sometimes only during certain hours.
